Workplace Screening Licence

Terms and Conditions

Licensor: GIDII Advocacy (ABN: 79 650 349 000*) (“we”, “us”, “our”)

Licensee: The valid purchaser of a Shattered Screening Licence (“you”, “your”).

  • We invite community groups, charities, workplaces, professional organisations, educational institutions, unions, councils, businesses and individuals to host a screening of Shattered.

The Screening Licence allows you to present the film as part of a community, educational or workplace event designed to encourage discussion about workplace injury, health systems, and the experiences of families navigating recovery.

Once your Screening Licence has been purchased, you will receive access to screening materials to support your event.

  • If you plan to screen Shattered in a commercial cinema, cinemas generally require films to be supplied as a Digital Cinema Package (DCP).

DCP file transfer fee may apply in addition to the Screening Licence fee.

Cinema hire, ticketing arrangements and venue logistics are arranged directly between you and the cinema and are separate from this licence.

Once your screening is confirmed, our team will coordinate with the cinema to provide the film file.

Please allow a minimum of two weeks’ notice for DCP delivery.

  • For community venues, workplaces, schools, conferences, organisational forums or private events, you will be provided with a secure Film Link to stream the film.

The Film Link will be sent seven days before your scheduled event.

    It is your responsibility to:

    • Test the Film Link on your equipment prior to the event
    • Ensure compatibility with your projection and sound systems
    • Confirm reliable internet access if required

We cannot issue refunds for technical issues arising from venue equipment or internet connectivity.

  • Your Screening Licence grants you the right to:

    • Exhibit the film once only at your nominated event
    • Host either a public, community, or workplace screening
    • Charge admission or host the screening free of charge
    • Use the screening as a fundraising event if desired
    • Retain all proceeds from ticket sales or fundraising activities

If you wish to host multiple screenings, additional Screening Licences must be purchased.

  • The Film Link is provided solely for the purpose of your licensed screening.

    The following are strictly prohibited:

    • Screening the film more than once under a single licence
    • Sharing the Film Link with third parties
    • Uploading, copying, reproducing or distributing the film
    • Screening the film outside the agreed event

Any use of the film outside the scope of this licence may constitute a breach of copyright and licensing conditions

  • Shattered is a public-interest documentary examining the experiences of injured workers, patients and families navigating complex systems.

We reserve the right to revoke a Screening Licence and issue a refund within 14 days of purchase if it is determined that the proposed screening is inconsistent with the purpose or values of the film.

  • The Licensee is responsible for organising and managing all aspects of the event, including but not limited to:

    • Venue hire
    • Event promotion
    • Ticketing or fundraising
    • Workplace learning or professional development sessions
    • Panel discussions or guest speakers
    • Guest management
    • Technical setup and screening logistics

  • Many screenings of Shattered include panel discussions or facilitated conversations about workplace injury, recovery and systemic reform.

If you are interested in inviting the film’s director, producers, or expert contributors to participate in your event, please contact us to discuss availability and speaker fees.
